Hydraulic control valve with 24 volt AC solenoid control. This hydraulically operated, diaphragm-actuated control valve is opened and closed electronically and easily connects to any compatible AC irrigation contoller. It automatically closes upon loss of control signal.
Easily converts to DC power by swapping bolt-on solenoid with a 9-24V DC latching solenoid (sold separately). No replumbing required.

How it Works
Line pressure [1] is applied to the Control Chamber [2] through the held open Solenoid Valve. This creates superior closing force that moves the Diaphragm Assembly [4] to a closed position. Upon pressure rise command, the Solenoid Valve [3] switches, releasing pressure from the control chamber and thereby opening the Main Valve. The Solenoid Valve [3] also features local manual opening and closing.
